“If ZZ Top and The Allman Brothers had a baby, it might be Adam Coleman”
— local music critic
Adam Coleman makes his music the old fashioned way — earned, lived, and played with both hands. Born and raised on the high desert of eastern Oregon, he grew up working ranches, fighting wildland fires, and later living on the southern Oregon coast. His life has been shaped by the mountains, hard work, and durable people. In Coleman’s world, stories are passed down, work gets done because it needs doing, and nothing comes easy. Those roots run deep in his music.
A singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist with more than 25 years of experience, Coleman draws from a deep well of blues, blues rock, country, bluegrass and Americana. His songs tell stories of the old west, hardship, loss, and broken hearts — but also joy, resilience, and fierce love. The result is music that’s authentic and without pretense: honest songs, soulful vocals, and a sound built entirely from real experience.
On his July 4th, 2026 debut album Nobody From Nowhere, Coleman performed every instrument except drums and delivered all vocals — a testament to his musicianship and song craft.
But the studio is only half the story. Live, the Adam Coleman Band cuts loose. Electric guitar driven blues rock, intimate acoustic moments, and a heavy dose of groove combine into a show that’s funky, unpredictable, and a hell of a good time. Rooted in tradition but never stuck there, the band brings the dust of the high desert and the mud of the southern Oregon coast to the stage, delivering authenticity, spontaneity, and a distinctive musical experience.
